Why waste all this effort? Labour are unelectable. Full stop. The only way they get re-elected is if Cameron continues down the idiot path he is on or that the turnout is so low at the next election that those on benefits, public employees or ex-miners represent a majority. Time has come to put the government on a legal footing, they refuse to listen to the public so democracy is dead so lets formalise the arrangement. They get tax money to run the country if not we simply stop paying tax.

Just heard Nigel F? (head of UKIP) on R4 about disabled candidate. Instead of apologising for letter clearly and definitively rejecting candidate for being disabled.. he spun .. and ensured he has lost the case.. Better to eat humble pie, apologise and stop it dead. Typical politician. Muppet.

The state of play so far:
Milburn, Clarke, Byers, Field and others are on a mission to stop Brown. They already have two influential newspapers onside in the Times and the Guardian and others are ready to follow if the momentum continues.
Brown had hoped for an easy run for the leadership but is in a deep depression tonight because he knows the die is cast and he has a bitter fight on his hands against heavyweight opponents who know it's still all to play for.
Blair will hang on for as long as it takes to produce a viable challenger and to get his bandwagon rolling.

Just been on 2020 and the penny has dropped. It's a rip-off this site. Eventually, enough people will go and say that Gordo is useless and a good head of steam against him will be generated.
Incidentally, I wonder how many of the NuLab MPs are in vunerable seats? If Cameroon did sweep in, the NuLab entryists would be booted and it would be Old Lab all over again.
