But unlike Nixon, avoiding impeachment, jumping won't stop any investigation / prosecution.

It is the Lord's Day, and Cranmer feels obliged to point out that, according to this morning's Times, the Catholic Church is mired in its own hypocrisy and sleaze:

Guido - your operation is like 'shock and awe' really, isn't it!

Will they put a blue plaque on Blair's House in Connaught Square ?

With any luck it will be a blue plaque on his cell in the Scrubs.

Cranmer - not so much the Catholic church per se as the Archbishop of Westminster and his director of public affairs (a creepily ironic title, given the accusations).

A serious story, though; if true, even advising someone to have an abortion is an excommunicable offence.

Even so, the worst that could happen would be the Archbishop being 'deprived for Heresy'. I wonder when that last happened? ;o)

Isn't subeditor hyphenated ?
as in sub-editor?

Thomas, you are a wag. Archbishops have it very difficult sometimes...

But since, in England and Wales, the Cardinal is head of the Catholic Church, the lack of action against Ivereigh, and the apparent toleration of his part in an abortion, is an appalling error of judgment. To sack a member of staff for being gay, but keep one who is a serial adulterer and condones abortion, is, at best, hypocrisy, and at worst, bigotry.

I can't work out whether your SHowIm t' Door campaign is simple spamming, or criminal harrassment. Either way, keep it up

Next step is to give them a hint of the reprisals list - who gets Chauchescued with Gordo & fat john and A Campbell, and who does time, like Tone and the spads

Cranmer, for once I agree with you absolutely.

(You won't see me write that very often).

Thomas, I rather think we had more in common than the history books concede...

Let's assume that 2 shags heard what Blair said to Brown about the handover. But 2 shags knows that Blair is a lying bastard. We also know that 2 shags is a lying bastard. So if 2 shags ever relates this conversation would he be:
a) telling the truth based on 2 negatives
b) be telling lies on the basis he's a devious liar or
c) be telling a load of bollocks because he didn't understand all the big words Gord and Tone used?

Maybe Lord Levy is a sleeper Brownite agent. His political inflience over Blair and subsequent trouble has too much of a paper trial to be anything other than a coup d'tait attempt to bring Brown on!

Levy probably has clandestine equipment to record all conversations with blair. There is an item of survellance called the mobile electronic eavesdroper sensor - In a garden this can be disgused as Dog Shit, A Rock or stuffed animal- how many conversations Levy ha through these devices nobody can imagine but the real advantage of the dog shit variety is that it can be covertly placed in doors and outdoors to attract the minimum of attention.

Tyneside Labour Deputy Leader winges and moans at lack of Tories on his sweepstake card. (Some of them are so depressing, they need a humour transplant.)
