Surely Mr Fawkes should be crossed off having "helped ye constabulary" with their enquieries a few hundred years ago.Ironically the other beauties on the playing card will probably have more success at bringing down the government of the day than he did.

If a policeman talks to me, does that mean I been arrested?
No I suppose he has first to read your Miranda Rights and then tell you why......since you are not being charged he doesn't need to tell you what charge you face and he can invite his riends in with their rubber coshes to help you remember anything you forgot to mention.....................oh, and he might mention that the Americans have been askling about you and had you planned on visiting the set of "Law & Order" for a screentest

Whilst, I accept that probably most of the political parties are as guilty as each other in the cash for Peerages Scandal and, every government since the dawn of time, cannot claim inocence in this matter. There is fundemental point worthy of note for the Labour party when they try to spread the blame. They are actually on watch at the moment. If it is and has been such a good system, Tony and his Greedy, Patronising, Nannying and Brain Dead supporters should at least accept that they have been caught and possibly, cocked the system up for everyone. They are the ones who should suffer the consequences and stop Bloody whingeing about it.
I hope every last one of them goes down.

Let's hope that Gordon isn,t on the list to be questioned by Yates. With Brown's record at answering direct questions it is highly probable that he would send Hazel Blears to answer any sticky questions. If that ploy failed and he had to appear in person, Yates would be well employed having an interpreter from the Bank of England and possibly a statistician on hand just in case he has to mention the word "money" in front of Brown. Yates won't have the benefit of an on/off switch. Mere mortals like myself use can use these switches to great advantage, whenever Brown starts rabbiting on, on the radio. Unfortunately for Yates of the Yard he would have to suffer.

Brown looks as though he is about to throttle somebody, in the above picture. Mind you, he has spent the last nine years thottling half the nation.
Is there not a glaring...oops, sorry, a Blairing ommission from that list of photos? (or does a "Sir" not count as a peerage?) (cue daft handshake) - ah, silly me, all a misunderstanding on my part, it's a fair cop, guv!
If McCartney was questioned, I hope they gave him some phone books or somesuch to act a booster seat.

And I don't suppose that anybody associated with the Labour Party were technically in a 'Position to grant' them when they 'nudged nudged, winked winked'
How I yearn for a political leader who ouses integrity. David D. did to a large extent. Dave 'hug a mugger/hoodie' most certainly doesn't.

Off topic, has anyone else noticed Al Qaeda's cunning plan to destroy the British economy by not assassinating Gordon Brown?

How much shit do you have to be in in London for ISRAEL to be a relative safe haven?
Anybody else wonder if this wasn't a bunk, it was a deal? As in, "Look, we don't want you here anymore, but we need some info. You don't want to be here now, either. Let's work this out."

Pity we don't have the death penalty. Perhaps the next Conservative administration could make selling peerages a capital offence, and then get MI5 to do to Lord Levy what the Israelis did to Adolf Eichmann...
Kim Howells has been very noticable on the news today, showing up all over the place (Beirut, Tyre, Haifa).
But I haven't seen a single glimpse of Lord Levi of Backander's shiny, silver locks anywhere on tv.
I wonder where he is.

If perchance Sheep Farmer is reading this, here is a message. You may have a very interesting blog. Certainly as a welshman I should find it interesting. But it is completely illegible. I really cannot read a single thing on it.
Can't you twiddle with some knobs ? Contrast/brightness / vertical hold ? I shall assume it's not worth the effort if it isn't revamped prontissimo...

Wasn't Ian McCartney 'interviewed' by Yates yesterday as well? Or do they have to be actually arrested by him?
Somehow I suspect that, with the Tories now being added to the list, that your cutout will have to be somewhat extended.

Liked this headline in the Western Mail
Raptors closing in on Tony
Blair is certain to avoid prosecution, but if Levy does not, he would be tainted forever.
Would he then feel compelled to refuse his own inevitable ennoblement?

Do we have a Kosher extradition arrangement with Israel under the Extradition Act 2003 ?
.
What was Levy's bail condition, did he not have to surrender his passport
So they didnt take away his passport then...
Tony Blair to order an investigation into Prescotts dirty dealings? there’s more chance of snow in London tomorrow.
Guido did you not predict this event in my company a few months ago? Are you psychic or what?

Not that it did that American mobster chappie any good.

Wow, looks like Sleazy Levy is doing a Shirley Porter. What a completely unpredictable suprise...
So Levy has now been telling Jerusalem Newswire that he's a MINISTER?!
