Talking of get-rich-quick schemes (so not entirely off-topic)...
NuLab are planning to put the boot into the train leasing companies for 'making too much profit'. What's to prevent a future government turning on NuLab's PFI 'partners' on exactly the same grounds? Some of Labour's fat-cat friends might need their Lords' allowances after all.

Anyone who imagines that the LibDems can take B & C with their left wing high tax policies and pro federalist stance on europe has patently never been to the constituency.And that's before you consider their unpopular vote loser of a leader or their very poor performance during the local elections in London earlier this year. So you haven't noticed the LibDEm promises on local income tax and, amongst many others, vehicle excise duty then. Those alone will ensure that almost everybody would pay more tax under a LibDem Govt than they already do under this the highest taxing and most wasteful Government in British history.
